I'm afraid my copies of those B-sides are from dodgy sources too - there was a JJJ radio tape floating about a few years ago ("Redneck Ramblings"?) which had True Believers Blind, Heaven and Earth and Devilfish Shuffle on it. I've been looking for the CD single (of Cemetery In My Mind, IIRC) they came fromever since. They pop up on eBay from time to time, but usually go for $40+.
One of my local record stores has the one track Promo single, but not the 4 track version. They do have an interesting 3 track with the Scream in Blue version of Sometimes plus live versions of Written in the Heart and Used and Abused. And the Real Thing single with Eye Contact/Pictures.

This brings up a glaring omission in the Oils catalogue: Why the hell isn't there a commercially-available b-sides disk? Even the 8-song promo "Best of the B-sides" from the 20,000 Watt RSL era is 50% live stuff. Imagine a compilation of all the non-live, non-remix b-sides, with the cream of the live/remix libraryfilling out the disk (or a second disk, most likely). I would buy the hell out of that! The material is already there, recorded and waiting. There's noexpectation of atour or anything. I can't imagine that it would be a money-losing proposition, even if sales are just to the devoted fans...

Oh, well... I can dream!
